and management of childhood TB and the other dealing with TB drug-resistance. Led by MRC Unit The Gambia at LSHTM, the activities of this work package are aimed at achieving the following objectives:<br \/>1. To strengthen diagnostics competency for adult and childhood TB with a clinical setting in the network<br \/>2. To strengthen laboratory diagnostics of TB using novel techniques such as GeneXpert<br \/>3. To strengthen the capacity of investigators at site to write competitive and winning grant applications<br \/>4. To set up a platform of sites for Drug Susceptibility Testing (DST) for first- and second-line drugs in West
